The Great War: Anti-German Hysteria and Conflict on the Home Front
Given Wisconsin's large German-American population, anti-German hysteria had a significant impact on our state. In commemoration of the 100th anniversary of the end of the war to end all wars, this program will look at the national, regional, local and personal responses to the outbreak of war in 1914 and subsequent US involvement in 1917.
