Lauderdale Aqua Skiers
The Lauderdale Lakes Aqua Skiers had its modest beginnings in the 1950s, when a group of young people who loved to ski decided they wanted to perform for their friends and neighbors. During the 1960s the team grew and costumes were added. As membership increased the Lauderdale Aqua Skiers began adding more acts, including their amazing two-high pyramid! With the advent of ski boats came new power and performance. The Lauderdale Aqua Skiers bought its own boat and began competing in the State Show Ski Tournament in the 1980s. The Aqua Skiers continue to grow and mature as a water ski show team. This crew is always adding and refining acts to keep pace with this exciting sport. You can still find them out on the water skiing and performing for their audiences every summer!
